Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Glaze (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our company website at www.glazeapps.com (the “Site”), contact us, or purchase digital products or related paid offerings sold by Glaze through Paddle Checkout.

This Site is Glaze’s company landing page. It is not the consumer product website for every app in our portfolio. Those products may publish their own privacy notices. Where a product has its own policy, that policy applies to use of that product.

For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@glazeapps.com.

2. Data controller and payments

Glaze is the controller of personal data we collect directly through this Site and through our own product operations (except where a specific product names a different controller).

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. For checkout, billing, invoicing, tax, fraud prevention, and payment customer service, Paddle acts as an independent controller (or as otherwise described in Paddle’s own privacy documentation) of payment and transaction data. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

See Paddle’s privacy information at paddle.com/legal/privacy and buyer support at paddle.net.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact data — such as name, email address, and message content when you email us or submit a form
  • Purchase-related data — such as email, country, and order identifiers that Paddle or you share with us so we can fulfill access, provide support, or reconcile accounts (not full card numbers)
  • Technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP, collected automatically when you visit the Site
  • Usage data — such as pages viewed and interactions on the Site, if we use analytics tools

We do not intentionally collect special-category personal data through this Site. Please do not send us sensitive information unless we expressly ask for it for a support or legal reason.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Fulfill digital product access and related services after a purchase
  • Communicate about orders, updates, policy changes, or service notices
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
  • Understand aggregate Site usage (where analytics are enabled)

Where required by law, we rely on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as securing and improving our Site and business), consent (for example for non-essential cookies or marketing where applicable), and legal obligation.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic operation (for example security or preference storage). If we use analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will do so in line with applicable law, including obtaining consent where required.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality.

6. Sharing of personal data

We may share personal data with:

  • Paddle — as Merchant of Record for orders, payments, taxes, invoicing, refunds, and related buyer support
  • Service providers — such as hosting, email, analytics, or security vendors who process data on our instructions
  • Professional advisers — such as lawyers or accountants, where needed
  • Authorities — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data from the UK/EEA (or other regions with transfer restrictions), we use appropriate safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses, where applicable.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, dispute, and security requirements. Purchase and support records may be retained for longer where required for tax, fraud prevention, or contractual reasons. Paddle retains transaction records according to its own policies and legal obligations.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise rights regarding data we control, email hello@glazeapps.com. For payment and billing data held by Paddle, contact Paddle via paddle.net or help@paddle.com as well, since Paddle is Merchant of Record.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Children

The Site and our paid offerings are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Payment card data for Paddle Checkout is handled by Paddle on PCI DSS–compliant infrastructure; Glaze does not store buyer card details.

12. Marketing

We will not send marketing emails without a lawful basis (such as consent or, where permitted, soft opt-in for existing customers). You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional messages about purchases, security, or service changes may still be sent when necessary.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where required by law.
